It is unfortunate, but the consumer hasn't a clue how you made your band and they simply need an explanation. I make 8" long bookmarks in threaded-in patterns and twill diagonals with 20 to 24 cards using 5/2 pearl cotton. The bookmarks are mounted on cards that describe tabletweaving and give a short history with a diagram of a setup under the bookmark. People seem to like them as I sell a lot. I wholesale them with a minimum order of 24 cards. The shops sell them for $5.00 CAN to $7.00 CAN each (I have no control over what they charge.) I have made hundreds and can easily do 12 in an evening. If any listers live near Toronto Ontario, stop by the Museum for Textiles and you will see my bookmark cards.
