http://www.opentext.org.ge/art/textil/silk/SILK8.JPG I found this image while looking at the Georgian Silk Museum's page - it refers to "the silk belts and head-dresses worn by Georgian women." I think I can see tablets in the center-foreground, but I'm not sure, and the detail isn't high enough to blow it up. The main site is here: http://www.opentext.org.ge/art/textil/silk/SILK_M~1.HTM In other news: It's silkworm time again! I got them from a new source this time, Mulberry Farms in California, http://www.mulberryfarms.com/index.php?page=products They were great... a thousand eggs was only ten bucks, and they hatched within a couple of days of arrival, all at once. I've got a huge number of kegos ("hairy baby", the first larval stage) and they also sent 20 big worms that are going to be spinning in a week or so! A thousand kegos looks like a stepped-on anthill... all these tiny little brown heads. It's a fun project. I'm hoping that they don't become overwhelming once they get bigger! Hope everybody's having a good Spring/summer... Michael __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? LAUNCH - Your Yahoo!
