Dear Patty
I've just visited your gallery.
Congratulations to all your students!! They have produced beautiful work,
all thanks to you, obviously.
Keep up the good work!
Best wishes
Mike Edwards - in Wales, U.K.
P.S. Can you tell me where I can find the patterns
for these lovely braids, please?

sheep
Hi Gina,
Well what do you know...I could send you the pattern if you
like. The 10th graders you mentioned from the article are my
students. And if you want to see a picture of the band go to
http://www.weavershand.com/gallery29.html
The students have woven different versions of it, some with clouds,
flowers, etc., so you can play around with the pattern if you
like. Contact me off line and I can arrange it.

The
newest Handwoven has an article on the last page about teaching
10th graders to weave on looms and tablets. The author mentions a sheep
tablet weaving pattern. Has anyone seen such a pattern? I collect sheep
and I'd love to weave some!
