Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques Denyse, Ouch for having to drop out! That's harsh, especially after such an investment of time and effort. The undergraduate thesis I'm working on this year is on the Mongol Empire, which sadly does not have much of a native textile tradition other than felting. But I'm thinking I might try tablet weaving my own version of a yurt band at some point, though probably not quite as long as an actual band. I'm hoping it will make a good first project for weaving with my own handspun. Researching the patterns is sometimes half the fun. I haven't spun much with anything other than wool, just some merino-tussah blends. Lisa > Hi Lisa, > > You're welcome! :-) I'm thrilled you are going back to finish your > degree.
