I have made lots of those little "containers". I have made them as little neckbags that I can put a credit card in or cash and do not have to lug a purse. So crochet hooks would work just fine!

We use to drive close to carry when we took our daughter to school....no not Chapel Hill, but a small community college the other side of Raleigh. IT had a horse program so she and her hourse when to college.

Hi Pam,

Thank you so very much for your insight and wisdom. :-) I love your knitting needle case -- beautiful! :-) I don't use double points, but do you think it would work for small crochet hooks? Syne is great! I emailed her asking about setting the twist before weaving and she responded very quickly. :-)

I live in Cary, NC but will be taking a vacation in western NC next year. I'll be sure and drop by for a visit. I'll let you know when I'm coming, of course. :-)

Hugs,
Denyse

I too have woven with my handspun, but not much lately. I have in years past. I just had to remember to put a high twist on it. I also plied my yarns. I am the person who made the tablet-woven double-pointed knitting needle case for WeaveZine. That is a internet publication written by Syne Mitchel who also produces WeaveCast. She is great!!!

I live in the Western part of North Carolina and I work at the John C. Campbell Folk school as their Resident Weaver. We have not offered tabletweaving for a while but in years past we did offer several classes from several instructors. We don't get a lot of requests to teach tabletweaving these days. Not sure where you live in NC, but if you are close to the Folk School stop by for a visit.

Pam
