Pam and all,

I've been working with the silk a lot lately. I did venture into some
three-color double-face, to see if I could figure out how it works; thanks to
Guntram's excellent information, I managed to get some decent results! I still
don't think I could easily design new patterns, but at least I know how to make
it weave up correctly. Blog entry about 3cDF:

Also, not entirely tablet-weaving related - but I got accepted for a teaching
position at SOAR this coming October, teaching silk work - we'll be reeling
filament and twisting up to build yarns appropriate for weaving, sewing,
embroidery, and knitting.

Here in Dallas, we've had a fairly mild winter so far. A few days of icy roads
and just a dusting of snow one afternoon, but it's pleasant and sunny out now,
fifty-eight degrees.
