One change to the loom since I wrote that: I shortened the pieces that run 
sideways, as I found it was a little easier to manage that way; I think they're 
about 8" now instead of 12". I ended up securing the elbows to just a few of 
the longer pipes, both to keep the little elbows from getting lost, and to keep 
the loom from twisting.  I left enough open that it still pops apart easily for 
transport.
