Well, 9.2 cannot come fast enough. Window-Eyes seems to let go whenever I
launch Internet Explorer on Windows 8.1. Not every single time, but more
often than not.

My work-around is to press the Windows Key to call up the charms screen.
Then Press alt+tab followed by the spacebar. I don't know the dialogue that
is there, but if I can pin down a sighted person when this happens I will
post it here.

Then I can press control+alt+W to call up Window-Eyes again.

I stopped putting WE into the system tray thinking this would make it more
stable. Having it in the system tray ended up with several instances of WE
showing up there. This isn't a windows issue, because if it was, then the
free alternative would behave the same way.

BTW, I can no longer use WE at work. The standard application there is the
other paid option. And although it too has the same issues, it does hang in
there and eventually comes back and begins speaking. I suspect the problems
the two big players in the paid arena are having has a lot to do with MS
Office 2010 and 2013. The free alternative appears to be handling these
instabilities better, but it doesn't provide the same level of access when
it comes to reviewing the screen or clicking on pages using elements that
fall outside of being links, mouse overs, buttons etc.

I'm not having that issue, but window-eyes is really being a total pest when
it comes to reading ebay lately, and more often than not, I find that the
only way to read ebay properly is by using my backup NVDA, and forgetting
about window-eyes altogether. this is a real shame, as some of the other
improvements to window-eyes are really showing through, especially in
on-line surveys, where I was previously having a lot of issues with various
elements that I just couldn't access with the keyboard, and now can access a
reasonable number of them with the latest window-eyes.

Hello,

I am not Happy with my New 9.1. I have given it time and me time to
learn to use it properly, but going on the Web is almost a for sure
Circus where I am forced to slowly use the Up and Down Arrows. And
even then, it doesn't take much at all for the program to lose its
way. Often going completely quiet.

I am not sure what New way the Folks at Window eyes has come up with
to Browse the web, but this New way needs an Update.

I have had one of the Tech Support Staff check out my system and he
said everything looked Good. But, if I go and use the Web, I almost
always have the system lock up, or go quiet. Sometimes it is hard to
tell which has actually happened. Forcing a reload of Window Eyes
usually does not work. I can press ALT, CTRL and W, and Nothing happens.

So, is there a 9.2 update coming any time soon? I use the web almost
every day, and I keep needing to use my old XP system with 8.4.
