I think the basic windows is about the same (I believe they just limit the
home edition in some networking areas); but one big difference between
various members of our lists are the different anti-malware we all use (or
don't <grin>).  At my workplace, we use Macafee, and the complaints about it
and screen readers do seem to be the worst of any anti-malware.  It's the
place I'd investigate first.

Interesting that you find Window eyes 9.1 to act up on your Win 7

I actually had my Win 7 Pro system at work, and I had some issues 
with it there, using the older 8.4 edition.

I brought it home, and installed the new 9.1.

have noticed it seems a bit slower, and of course, I have already 
expressed the problems on the  when using the Web Browser.

I have wondered if the problem is the difference between Win 7 Home 
edition and Win 7 Professional?

Because some here seem to have little problems with 9.1.
