I think the basic windows is about the same (I believe they just limit the home edition in some networking areas); but one big difference between various members of our lists are the different anti-malware we all use (or don't <grin>). At my workplace, we use Macafee, and the complaints about it and screen readers do seem to be the worst of any anti-malware. It's the place I'd investigate first.

Hello Vaughan, Interesting that you find Window eyes 9.1 to act up on your Win 7 Professional system. I actually had my Win 7 Pro system at work, and I had some issues with it there, using the older 8.4 edition. I brought it home, and installed the new 9.1. have noticed it seems a bit slower, and of course, I have already expressed the problems on the when using the Web Browser. I have wondered if the problem is the difference between Win 7 Home edition and Win 7 Professional? Because some here seem to have little problems with 9.1. t 03:49 PM 5/15/2015, you wrote: >I have two contrasting experiences with version 9.1. > >On my 8.1. 64 bit machines, 9.1 has proven to be the most stable of >Window-Eyes releases.
