Hi: I have found that in outlook that if I open a e-mail and wait until I hear
WE tell me about it a little that most of them open well enough and they don’t
lock up.
In Internet Explorer and other browsers I find that WE will sometimes lock up
and often lose focus as new things are loaded and sometimes I think it has
problems when flash items are automatically played while reading some text on
the web page.
So in Outlook let a message open and wait until you hear about whether it has
links tables and all that jazz.
Also, I have found that sometimes if my computer sits idel for some time and I
have to log on again that when I go into Outlook I have no speech in the
messages until I reBoot.
I don’t remember if the Restart hot key fixed this problem since I havent had
it for several days - happy to say.
But whenever firing up a new program like Outlook or a browser wait many
seconds to let the program open fully and for any WindowEyes scripts to load
and get active before hitting a arrow or tab key or doing anything and see if
that helps a little.

Subject: Loss of speech, consistent pattern

Hello,

Like many of you, I have been experiencing the annoying problem of sudden
speech loss and WE crashing on a fairly regular basis with W7 and WE 9.2. Over
the last few days, I have noticed one consistent action that seems to cause the
problem. When I open a PDF document from a web page and start the process of
recognizing the document-the dialog box with reading order, read full document
etc., WE always crashes and has to be restarted with control-alt-w. I have not
tried downloading PDFs before processing them enough to know whether the
problem exists there as well. WE developers, PLEASE look into this issue. I’m
sure I’m not the only one who is experiencing decreased work
productivity/efficiency because of this.

Thank you,

Jan
