Thanks Bob, yeah, similar issues - fortunately my Thunderbird contains spell check (I thinkit's Thunderbird which provides the spell check, but who knows). What stinks is, if I leave the composing window, I won't know where I am in the e-mail. I have to assume the cursor is where I left it.
