If you are a total beginner I suggest you look at "Slint" which is a branch of Slackware Linux and is very accessible with a screen reader. Do a Google search for the download which is about a 4 plus gigabyte download but a very all inclusive installation and easy to install. The maintainer of "Slint" is a very helpful person and I understand there is a very helpful user mail list. But, as I said earlier, the Orca screen reader is not as far advanced as WindowEyes was in Windows. If you like tinkering then you will like Linux. I have a link for the Slint mail list but am not sure is it is correct. http://slint.fr/mailman/listinfo/slint_slint.fr Good luck. -- <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
