I would prefer counter-vandalism@ I also support Richard's suggestion of tagging@ Personally I think the wiki is an under-supported resource and much load would be taken off talk if it was better written but I do also acknowledge that the traditional primary form of communication within OSM is the list and it may be prudent to continue using lists for that communication.
