I usually split my changesets into small chunks. http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/werner2101/edits The only reason is to keep the changeset areas small and the possibility to add a meaningfull changeset comment for the next mapper. Please, John, add some comments to your changesets. e.g. for the changeset: http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/5357611 a simple "toy -> toys" comment is enough. BTW: I trapped into the "last message" issue of JOSM, too. Changeset 5358548 was a "dupe nodes removal session".
