Eleanor,

indeed, as with selling phones a degree of latitude is permitted in terms of
initial posting.

however, once the initial call for info has gone out, and one or two
reflections on this have been issued, the continuance of such discussion can
often serve as simple clogging of mailboxes.

this as previously stated is not a democracy, as Admin I ask that this
specific thread on this specific topic line now end.

anyone needing additional help with e-mail configuration should request it,
but please keep offers of help off list, as the subject has been covered in
enough detail to allow most users a successful resolution to any issue that
they may be experiencing.

Neil if I had not received such information as this from Stephen Gigger who
has to be one of the most informed people on the use of Talks and mobile
phones, I would not now have my e-mail set up on my phone. I was then able
to pass this information on to someone only the other day who was
struggling, in fact a Talks dealer no less!!!! Like David said in one of
his earlier e-mails when asking about e-mail it surely is related to Talks
as we are using the phone with Talks as the screen reader to access the
information. If Talks is silent on e-mail, then we possibly need to discuss

what the possible reasons might be and if e-mail is not set up correctly
then that is one very good reason why Talks is not speaking.
