Yes, and 10 years ago headers were named "kludges". There is even less reason to keep this "feature" in. All it does is cause confusion. Nothing more. Like the first "feature" I mentioned it doesn't serve any purpose whatsoever, and it is a possible source of confusion. >> - Message-ID url's. It's some kind of URL, only useful for fellow Beta! users. In Forte Agent I can doubleclick on a Message-ID anywhere in the message and it finds the correct message. If I want to search for a malformed Beta! specific "Message URL" I have to open it in an editor and edit it. It's completely useless! Ritlabs should have implemented a method like Agent uses in the first place, instead of "inventing" its own strange workaround. >And if other clients does not support it, this is reason to remove it from >TB? Why?? Because it adds useless complexity into a mail client that's already bloated and bug-ridden. Ritlabs should grab any opportunity to remove crappy, bug-prone and/or idiosyncratic uselesness from the code in order to make it leaner, meaner and easier to use and maintain. But they won't do that. >> It's these and other "features" like mugshots and betamoticons that >> lead me to believe that Beta! developers and chronical beta! list >> habituals alike are living in a world of their own and are impervious >> and hostile towards input from outside. Imperviousness, hostility and obliviousness regarding things that really matter. You say I am dropping flame-bait, I say I am just speaking the (uneasy) truth.
