Haven't looked at the plugin, since I've installed from the very beginning of TC on my machine. ;) But since TC v6.5 all plugins can install automatically when opening the archive and most of the plugins I installed since TC v6.5 use this new feature.
Perhaps one doesn't have to do the provided steps and everything is done automatically. :)
