If I have to go to the "View" menu and click on different boxes and see how it affects the UI, there is seriously something wrong. This is what I'm talking about with regards to intuitiveness and the original statement you quoted still holds. Try to think about this as someone that doesn't know about all TB's intricacies. > The Unread tab is therfore a folder tree view that just > displays _folders_ which currently have Unread messages. This is inconsistent with the tabs. Following your logic: The Virtual tab is therefore a folder tree view that just displays _folders_ which currently have Virtual messages. Clearly I understand that's not what you meant, but this is my point about the lack of consistency. The semantics of what the tabs mean change for this one tab. > What I'm trying to get at is what I said above. Folder tabs are just > views of the _Folder_Tree_. If this is the case, then there is still a problem with the tabs. And this currently chosen view seems rather arbitrary and adds nothing that the current "All" tab does not provide. Of course, it does help if you don't expand all your folders, as Allie pointed out earlier, but why this is a core, prominent feature is still lost on me. Finding folders with unread messages does not seem to be the core problem, finding the unread messages is. -- Kevin ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.5.21 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
