Here we go. :)

I am using PGP 8.0.3 with the "always encrypt to default key" (which is
mine, of course) switch enabled.

Then I...

1. create a new message
2. select to sign/encrypt
3. select PGP/Mime
4. manually select "put message in outbox"
5. have to enter my passphrase
6. close the editor window

After that, the message is in the outbox. Clicking on it says "pgp
encrypted..." in the message preview, and I can click on the decrypt to see
the message I wrote in the preview pane.

However, I can not open the message again to edit it further, because the
editor has no "decrypt" button. :)

So - confirmed! (unless I overlooked something)
