All the .def files in TB!'s main directory say they were last modified in March or April of 2005. mfinder.def was last modified on April 4, 2005. So I think these modifications are RitLabs work on the various betas it released last spring and have nothing to do with my current problem. It's a puzzle. I'm going to try to see if Add/Remove brings up the msi installation window and try a Repair.
