For many reasons I keep my mail base on a separate partition with all of my data files. Windows is on Drive C:, All data is on Drive D: and my programs are installed on Drive E:. This enhances performance and security for the data files and makes configuring a backup very easy. When a new TB! MSI is released, I do a "clean" install of TB! by running the uninstall from Add/Remove Programs and then deleting the TB! folder under E:\Program Files\. I also clean all references to TB! from the registry. This makes a clean playing field for the new MSI. When installing the MSI I choose to create a new account using the name and path for my primary account. TB! wonderfully brings in everything as though I had used a Backup file to create the account. When the new install is running I then choose to create a new account for each of my other accounts using their existing name and TB! again does a wonderful job of using the previous setup for these accounts. Since the MSI's set all the parameters for TB! I know there is no obsolete stuff cluttering the hard drive and possibly interfering with the new installation. So far, this has worked flawlessly for me. -- Take Care, Paul Voyager v.3.70.06 Beta on Win2k SP4-Rollup1 5.0.2195 No IMAP OTFE Opera 8.51 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.70.07 "Qigong" | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
