If the problem is not with your gateway doing something that it
shouldn't resulting in standards compliant PGP/MIME signed messages
being munged and the problem is that I'm doing something that is not
standard and is known to create problems for many, then yes. Blame me
of course. :)

Be that as it may, I do wish for you to read my messages without
problems. However, it's not an easy situation because of these issues:

1) I need to sign my messages for security reasons. As moderators we
don't wish to have anyone impersonating us on, and more importantly,
off-list. Our messages are therefore characteristically signed and the
key used is consistent for extended periods. This adds to the strength
of trust you can put in the public key you have.

2) PGP/MIME's implementation in TB! all but ended a common topic that
would crop up on these lists. It was about why the moderators and
others were 'unnecessarily' filling up their message bodies with PGP
signature stuff. It was distracting unreadable and made reading our
messages more difficult than others. :) We surely listened and
sympathized but we thought security made it a necessary evil and
wished that a solution would come in the form of PGP/MIME ... and it
did.

So it would seem that there are some who are now having problems with
the PGP/MIME signatures. This is a toughy and I'll not just ask that
you go ask your company admin to fix his server. I know that is on the
unreasonable and impractical side. I'm really not sure what to do
here. What would you do in my position Graham?
