Hi, all,
On 01/10/1999, at 13:41,
Oleg Zalyalov (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED])
took a mike and sang on a blues tempo:

OZ> For *each* message I press Ctrl-F5 if I want to reply to it, sooner or
OZ> later. The major difference in our mail working policies is that you
OZ> have in one folder both urgent and non-urgent messages. I do not. My
OZ> messages are filtered by TB! by formal rules to the folders which I
OZ> divided into 2 classes: for urgent messages and for not urgent
OZ> messages.

OZ> So I just do not open folders with non-urgent messages -- that what I
OZ> mean by time saving.

Thanks, now I think I better understand you way of acting: you have an
*automatic* filtering for urgent and non-urgent mails, so, for you, a
red non-urgent folder is like an orange folder in my wish.

I do have non urgent folders by now, filtered automatically, and I
have no problem managing them as you do.

I do have a few urgent folders, too. Because I consider the senders to
be managed ASAP. No problem with them, too. Red is red, brown is
brown, no need for orange.

But I have *many* folders in which I get non urgent (the most) and
urgent (the less) posts. I can't make a formal rule to sort them out,
as the same sender may send a post *I* think urgent or an other *I*
think it may wait a bit. So I must see the subject to chose it needs
to by read or replied in a hurry, or not.

The only thing I wish is, when I've seen these posts, having them
marked "seen" :)))
... and the folder becoming orange until it gets some new post(s) ;-)
