Nope, the point is not valid. Just give me a possibility to create my own/modify 
existing keybindings, and that's it. IMHO, next paragraph should be "Ctrl-
Down", previous paragraph "Ctrl-Up", word right "Ctrl-Right", word left "Ctrl-
Left", delete word right "Ctrl-Del" (unless there exists a persistant block 
selected, in the latter case it should delete this block), delete word left "Ctrl-
Backspace". This list might be prolonged ad infinitum;-) Just give me all this -- 
and it will no longer be "50% more typing", it will happily become "50%+ less";-
)

Well, it might become AFAIK that M$ is no longer a "typical Windows user", 
too;-) Their "point-and-shoot" marketing trick sounds like that;-)) But anyhow, 
yes, I came here from OS/2, and *there* the majority happened to use free 
caret;-)

That's my own problem, too. I usually use the editors that allow me to re-
assign all the key bindings... But well, RIT labs have already stated that they'll 
introduce the configurable keycombos in ver. 2.

So do I. Hence the current behaviour of TB's editor is what I like most.

Not necessarily. Nobody needs one more M$;-) Neither M$ itself needs it...

Emacs is a specialized editor. TB is a MUA. Feel the difference. For editing I 
use emacs under Linux and Mac (oh god! make it so that I *never* need to 
work on Mac again!;-)), Mr. Ed under OS/2, WinEdt under Windows. If I were 
to compare these three, the best for me would be WinEdt. When Delphi gets 
finally ported to Linux (and hence WinEdt for Linux gets available), I'll switch 
like a flash;-)

Depends on... I'll bet, a certain fraction of TB's editor code comes directly 
from DN's internal editor;-))
