Ok, that makes sense, but what is really weird is if I put the word
"From" on it's own line with nothing after it, it doesn't get the >
character. But if I put a string like "From is good" then that will
get the >From addition. But maybe there is a reasonable explanation
hidden in what you've said. When you mentioned the "From " string
being the trigger for this behavior, you did intend "From<space>"
right? So because of virtual space, if I type
From
There will be no space after the m, so no trigger. Ok, I think I got
