ROTFL!! Naughty, naughty. :-)

Personally, I was tired of running two instances of Forte' Agent and was
also getting tired of not easily knowing whether or not I had replied to
messages and the poor filtering.

I started looking. I used Eudora and realised that it's multi-threading
was really poor and that its editor was of the type that re-flowed text
upon sending, totally ignoring the recipients anguish with badly
re-flowed quoted material. Dustbin for me on those two counts.

I then found Calypso which was quite nice except that the interface was
a bit complex and the editor reflowed text upon sending. I hate that
editor attribute so much (and enjoyed it's absence in Agent).

I then went to Winfiles and downloaded and installed a number of
unmentionables and then came across TB!. The name was sort of ridiculous
to me at the time and ironically was the root behind my curiosity to
install it. That same evening I discovered it's template functionality
which knocked me off my seat as well as it's WYSIWYG editor that didn't
munge quoted material on sending. I also discovered that the editor had
advanced features such as reflowing quoted text (including full
justification), smart tabs, auto-indenting and backspace un-indents etc.
I have looked back since, but never found anything that even made me
consider dropping TB!. I've installed and fiddled with Becky (very nice
and I recommend it for those not interested in TB!'s powerful filtering
and templates), and Poco. Poco is pretty and implements most of TB!'s
features in some sort of way. This is why the feature list is so similar
to that of TB!. However, when you do look into the feature
implementations, you tend to get disappointed. It sure glitters though,
and will certainly catch the attention of the glitz lovers. :-)
