I am a neophyte at this. In my old system, TB resides:
D:\Program Files\The Bat\thebat.exe. So, I assume, I want a
D prompt?
R> Enter the following two commands:
R> regedit /e thebatcu.reg "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT\The Bat!"
R> regedit /e thebatlm.reg "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\RIT"
Substituting /d for /e?

To anywhere on the C drive (where all programs are
going)?

Which I assume I would have to do, too? I don't know how to
edit the .reg files, where they might be, how to get at
them. Help, please. Also, does this procedure alter my
registry (at which possibility my heart becomes faint?)
Please excuse my inexperience here. If it's any
compensation, I write very good books.
Many thanks,
Jerry Mundis
