Now this is something I've wanted to see for a long time. :o)

No, on manual backups, I open RegEdit and export the two settings to my TB!
Zip Disk. The contents of those two Registry entries do not seem to change
much at all between sessions. In any case, am I to presume that your method
of backing up TB! does not include a provision to back up the Registry
settings?

Kari, would you mind writing down this batch file *exactly* as it should be
shown? I found your example a little confusing, and am leery to try it for
fear of causing some damage. :o(

In the example batch file above, do you actually type in "Start of
Hidden.bat" somewhere? I have never created a batch file so you will have to
show some patience with me. ;o)
Is "PATH_TO_TBw" and "PATH" the actual words you type in, or are you
supposed to type in C:\Program Files... etc., in place of "PATH"?

Now I'm really confused... Do you mean I have to download and install this
Program? Is it tied into the batch file in some manner? I see "HIDEWNDW.EXE"
in your batch file so I presume we have to indicate where this file is
located on our HDD.
What advantages are there to your type of backup, compared to Tools/Backup?
