That's a shame. It means that the POP3 server you are downloading from
is using a non-standard methodology for listing IDs of un-deleted
messages ... or are you using IMAP? Either way, if this does not work,
it is not TB's fault. TB does this correctly.

Perhaps, but if your ISP's server doesn't correctly manage the "leave
messages on server" option, you don't have much choice.

TB already has that option. It's the "leave messages on server"
setting which works well for *exactly* this purpose. It is your ISP
you need to talk to next because they are the ones lacking support for
the option.
