From one English-speaking German to another: Very good joke!
And now for the original problem, which I see, too. In my experience
even a documentation won't help. Most people don't read it (does RTFM
mean anything to you?) and actually don't need it for their most
basic needs.
I know a lot of people using OE with its standards enabled (HTML,
automatic opening and so on). Not one of them really uses HTML
formatting. You may remember, I once or twice ranted about those
folks as they sometimes even put their whole message (a short
question or else) into the subject line - and send it as HTML ...
BTW, is there a documentation (except help file) for most of MS
products, especially OE and Windows?
And for volunteers: I think you and me, Thomas, are able to translate
or even rewrite the documentation. But I also see that Ritlabs may
depend too much on users, who work for free.
Don't get me wrong, as long as we help one another - and promote such
a good programme - that's okay with me. I just think TB! is now big
enough to not rely on volunteers for free anymore. There is a
difference between other users helping out and being the support
department for a company, even if it is small.
