No, that's not "Combined Delivery", it's "POP before SMTP", which you
will find under the Authentication button behind the field where you
fill in your SMTP server name.
Conbined Delivery will start check and send threads at the same time,
so the send attempt will usually be refused because the POP thread is
not completed by the time you attempt to send.
