QT's can be used across accounts. so, when you want to change any
template (that you have defined through a QT) you make your changes in
the QT and off you go.
The only thing used in your account/folder/AB templates is the
%QINCLUDE macro with appropriate handle as an argument.

I use QT's for mass mailings with the macro %SUBJECT, which alters the
subject line to the argument I define after it.

Well, I don't think they think that. You *can* alter all templates on
all levels (account, folder, AB). What you can't - and what could be a
good feature, I'm not sure - is change your template in on place for
all levels. Actually after having written this, I don't think that it
would be a good feature. Additionally it is already implemented
through QT's - if one likes them or not, doesn't really matter.
