This is exactly what I do with Quick Templates. I do so because the
macro set is readily to hand along with RegEx help.

Aha! This is because the QT editor obeys the message editor settings
and is reacting to the AutoFormat command. a quick Ctrl-Shift-F gets
that out of the way.

NA> using Template Files, especially considering their quirkiness.
Help and immediacy is the main advantage. The quirks can be turned
off.
