On my system it appears to just open the one thread.  Is there a way
to open all the threads at once?

Thanks for the info on ctrl-] <smile>.  It appears that ctrl-] will do
exactly what I want; going either into threads or down.

So that part of the case is closed.

I'm sorry about the almost duplicate message I'd posted this morning.
With all that's happened here in the states this past week, I'd
actually forgotten I'd posted it.
