I'll tell you what I want. I have a number of messages in different
The Bat! folders. Now I've found that it is quite difficult to
nagivate there, so I would like to have a major part of them archived
somewhere on my hard disk with the possibility of later coming back to
them (for example, to check a subject that was discussed in a mailing
list).

So, if I create a filter and have *all* the messages archived, it may
be that I put there the messages that I would rather prefer to
discard.

With the outgoing messages, I think, your suggestion would work
flawlessly for me. But perhaps you can tell me a bit more about Zoot.

This also seems promising. I will try to check it. Do you know whether
it is a shareware or freeware program?

JR> However, you can bypass all of this by searching the
JR> message archives that are on line.

I have a little limitation as far as the Internet access is concerned.
While being able to send/receive messages via my friend, I do not
always have a direct access to the net (so as to do surfing,
downloading, etc.)

Looking forward to your further comments, and thank you for your help.
