Creating an account just for message storage helps as well. It
unclutters the accounts that you work with often and you can keep the
account closed and open it only when looking for an old message.
Finally, having the messages in an archive account helps greatly with
backing up in that you can reduce the redundancy involved in repeatedly
backing up a lot of messages.
