In my appartment, I don't have a direct telephone line yet. I have to dial "9" to get, like in a hotel. The building has 20 lines to be shared by all appartments, so they cut off the connection after 20 minutes (automatically by the PABX computer). This is quite normal in Thailand. Every time I websurf and have TB running on auto-check, the line is cut after 20 minutes. Even if TB is in the middle of a mail-check, I can close TB normally. No open sockets or running tasks with this method. -- Cheers, Thomas. Moderator der deutschen The Bat! Beginner Liste. Reality is a crutch for people who can't face drugs.
