Hello Stefan,

On Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 10:37:17 PM you [ST] wrote (at least in
part):

ST> Usually, e-mail can be validated by simple sequence:

ST> RSET
ST> QUIT

Be connected to a qmail server and you're off.
My server responds 'OK' to every 'RCPT TO' in it's domain scope :-)
Some are nevertheless rejected after 'DATA' was submitted, the rest is
accepted and if addressed to a non-existent e-mail-address the bounce
is created THAN. So I for myself am sure there's not an easy way to
determine if an address in my domain exist without sending a message
with a bounceable sender address. :-)

Sex is not the answer. Sex is the question. "Yes" is the answer.
