People like me (easily annoyed aesthetes) just want them to be beautiful...like the lines of just about any Ferrari ever made. And if they can't be beautiful, then they should at least be uniform and consistent -- a mark of quality engineering. > Making thinner gaps wider would be confusing because it > would create illusion that those gaps are separators too. If you think that Agent looks "cluttered," you were probably one of those four guys who actually liked the looks of the AMC Pacer, Stefan. :) You're a *great* engine builder -- but you should probably hire an Italian designer to help you with design. Here's a picture of how Agent does it (using the modern 3D effect): http://home.earthlink.net/~handsomemorrison/gaps2.jpg Yes, those are the "grab-able" bars, too. Uniform, modern, elegant, clear, simple -- and beautiful. Likewise, Dialog, Outlook, WS-FTP, etc. and just about any other modern program out there with a similar layout. Take a look at them and see for yourself. Pacer...Ferrari...Pacer...Ferrari. Sounds like a no-brainer to me. -- Best regards, Jack Using The Bat! 2.04.7 on Windows 5.1 (2600) Service Pack 1 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.04.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
