No, it's not good, if you are always on-line. See my message to Robin for notes about synchronisation. To put in short (sorry, I don't have much time because I'm on a short vacation now, so I'm trying to catch some rest :-), no wonder you have to wait before your messages load - The Bat! should finish the syncrhonisation tasks first. The best way to use IMAP on a DSL connection is just to switch any synchronisation off and read IMAP folders just like they are normal folders. Having said that, I bear in mind that there are some problems for us to solve.
