Ahhh, looking at the maker ini file default settings for
ClipboardFormatsPriorities, yes, that makes sense. It's pasting them as
OLE 2 objects. (I've not had great luck with OLE in FrameMaker and gave
it up ....)

So, my guess is that Archive does not support those.

Cheers,

Sean

Subject: Re: [TCP] archive utility

When I paste using this method, I can double-click the graphic in
FrameMaker, the graphic opens in the original program (AutoCAD or
PhotoShop), and I can make changes and save them.

I made a couple of test files and saved them as mif. There are
references in the mif files to OLE2:

   <ImportObFile `2.0 internal inset'>
   <ImportObUpdater `OLE2'>

But, it looks like all the image data is contained in the mif files.
Each document has nothing but a single pasted graphic; the CAD test file
is almost 10,000 lines, and the PhotoShop text file is almost 45,000
lines. A portion of each file looks like it represents the colors and
lines in the graphics.

I have written to Bruce Foster. I was just hoping to get an answer soon
enough to be able to buy and use the plugin for a project that has to be
completed today. Impatient can be my middle name, at times... but that's
not always a bad thing. :)
