> Have you all found value in posting your resume on Monster, Dice, and
> other job boards?

Several years ago, I got some calls from contract houses when I had my
resume posted on Monster. Usually two or three were trying to fill the
same contract position, and the pay rate was substantially different
from contract house to contract house. I may have accepted one of the
temporary positions. It eludes me now how one of my short-term jobs
found me.

If I was job-hunting, I would post my resume on Monster again. I would
probably include my address and phone number because that makes it
easier for recruiters to find me. If it reached a point where it became
a problem, I could always take my phone number off again. I would also
use services like LinkedIn and lists like TCP to post that I was
available for jobs. Whatever it took to get the word out there that I
was looking.
