My name is Alan Byer, and I am a technical writer in Columbia, Maryland. Been doing this for ~30 years now, mostly in the Baltimore/Washington metro area. Started out in Lewisburg, West Virginia. On the job, I especially enjoy tracking down information and playing sleuth; also write magazine articles as an off-hours avocation.
