SMART will probably have you look here:

2. *Diagnostic Log*

      Click the SMARTBOARD icon in the system tray > Control Panel > About
Software and Product Support > Tools > SMARTBOARD Diagnostic>File>Saves as>*
SBDiagnostics.Log***

      3. *Report Log*

      Click the SMARTBOARD icon in the system tray > Control Panel > About
Software and Product Support > Tools > SMARTBOARD
Diagnostic>Report>Local>Saves as>*ReportLog.html*

and have you send them the reports.  I've gotten lucky on my boards that are
out of warranty, they had me register them and then the one that failed they
replaced the whiteboard part.
