Is his the smart usb2serial or a smart serial cable with a USB adapter? We have
a 580 and a trendnet serial to USB adapter. We have issues from time to time
with the trendnet driver but I can pull the serial connection and hook directly
to my laptop (has serial connection) and we have a connection.
