I been a Direct TV user for 13 years and that because our local cable company is stupid and lazy. I have had trouble with them but I mainly just watch sports and a movie once in a while. I have had no trouble with my equipment and no trouble with customers service. They just gave me all the movie channels and the NFL game day stuff for $3.50 a month for five months. Now I can see why subscription movies channels suck. nothing new on them. but the NFL thing is great. I do like the "Educational channels", but I think I've watched everything they had and haven't watched in while. I think I am gradually weaning myself from the TV as I get older, really pretty boring crap.
