I've been getting Cinemax for a penny a year for that past year and a half or so through a Dish Network promotion. For all the more I have watched on it, I'm not sure I got my money's worth!

HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax are nothing but garbage anymore. When I first started getting HBO back in the early '80s as soon as the movies were done at the theatre, they were running on the Big 3. Now we pay big bucks for junk. Even HBO Sports/boxing is starting to suck. I wonder if it's a direct result of Time-Warner owning all of them now? -----Original Message----- From: tech-geeks-boun...@tech-geeks.org [mailto:tech-geeks-boun...@tech-geeks.org] On Behalf Of Dan Ragen Sent: Tuesday, October 19, 2010 8:20 AM To: Tech-Geeks Mailing List Subject: Re: [tech-geeks] OT - Vent I been a Direct TV user for 13 years and that because our local cable company is stupid and lazy. I have had trouble with them but I mainly just watch sports and a movie once in a while. I have had no trouble with my equipment and no trouble with customers service. They just gave me all the movie channels and the NFL game day stuff for $3.50 a month for five months. Now I can see why subscription movies channels suck. nothing new on them. but the NFL thing is great. I do like the "Educational channels", but I think I've watched everything they had and haven't watched in while. I think I am gradually weaning myself from the TV as I get older, really pretty boring crap.
