Well I resolved my Fiber issue. I thought my problem was a bad fiber
cable since using the flashlight theory I could barely see any light
coming through the other end of the patch cord. I found another patch
cord and that didn't work. So I took the switch I originally thought was
bad and connected it to the new switch via the fiber and I could get
from one switch to another. Knowing that switch worked I took that to
the NOC and connected the fiber on that end to that switch and I had
packet flow from my office to the NOC. Easiest thing was to take the
Fiber module I knew worked and exchanged it for the one that was suspect
and Houston we have lift off. Now looking at both Switches when this
thing happened all lights showed that both were working fine. It gave
the impression that the cable was bad. All of this for a flaky fiber
module. Now I am just wondering if it is worth getting this repaired as
a spare or just throw it in the recycle bin as I can get these for under
$100 and it will probably cost that much to get it refurbished.

Thanks to list for all the help.
