Ubiquiti Networks makes wi-fi radios with integrated antennas (among other wireless connectivity gear). Their NanoStation line is inexpensive but not cheap, and the radios include a built-in spectrum analysis tool. A 5GHz NanoStation Loco can be found for around $70. Obviously it's not the same as a full-blown analyzer, but it's a lot cheaper. http://www.wlan1.com/product_p/locom5.htm - a vendor I worked with in a past life, cheap, fast shipping if it's in stock http://www.ubnt.com/airview - screenshots of the AirView software they use (the page is for a USB dongle, but the interface for the radio's onboard version is identical) _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
