The 7410 is their solution which does allow for redundant heads. It's
basically an X4240 with three SAS HBAs, and two open slots for other things
(like quad-gigE cards), and they plug in some Flash Read Accelerator devices
into disk slots. That plugs into J4400 shelves, and you can have up to
three Flash Write Accelerator devices (no more than one per shelf), which
get plugged in as disk devices in the shelf.

It's something we need to test. We haven't had much problems in the past
with our NetApp heads, so we've only recently gone to a configuration where
we're going to cluster some of them. We're just thinking about dipping our
toe in the USS 7410 water, and we don't know if the redundant head thing is
going to make a difference for us or not -- it all depends on the budget and
the application.
